There is a lot of value this week so I will take three longshots and go with Webb Simpson at golf betting odds of 25-1, Patrick Reed at 25-1 and George McNeill at odds of 40-1.

Greenbrier Classic Odds

The 2015 Greenbrier Classic takes place from July 2nd through July 5th. Some of the players who have already committed to playing in the 2015 event are Tiger Woods, Webb Simpson, Brandt Snedeker, Rory Sabbatini, Cameron Tringale, Mike Weir and Bubba Watson.

The tournament is played at The Old White Course which opened in 1914. The course did not have a PGA Tour event until the Greenbrier Classic in 2011. Some of the world’s top players should be in the 2015 field but because of the tournament’s place on the PGA Tour schedule it is also a resting spot for many top pros.

The Old White Course

This course was designed in 1914 by Charles Blair Macdonald and was named for the Old White Hotel. The course features a number of well known holes including the 8th that was actually designed based on the Redan at North Berwick, Hole 13 after the Alps at Prestwick; and Hole 15 after the Eden at St. Andrew's. The course is a par 70 that measures 7,287 yards. The course features wide fairways but challenging greens. The course recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. President Woodrow Wilson actually played this course in 1914.
